Clinical Pharmacist \/ Infusion RN Available 24 \/ 7\/ 365<\/span><\/h3>\n

Our regular business hours are 8am to 5pm Monday through Friday. However, in order to provide 24 hour service for our patients and their health care professionals. we have a Clinical Pharmacist and Infusion Nurse on-call 24\/ 7\/ 365 who can be reached by calling (434) 792-6387<\/p>\n

Complete line of Infusion delivery systems<\/span><\/h3>\n

We offer several types of IV & Enteral delivery systems including:<\/p>\n

    \n
  • Stationary (pole mounted) infusion pump—Abbott Acclaim Encore<\/li>\n
  • Ambulatory (portable) infusion pump—Abbott Aim Plus<\/li>\n
  • Syringe (pediatric) infusion pump—Baxa MicroFuse<\/li>\n
  • Elastomeric Delivery Device—Homepump Eclipse<\/li>\n
  • Enteral Nutrition Pumps—Ross Companion and Patrol<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Infusion Pump Rentals<\/span><\/h3>\n

    We offer IV and Enteral Nutrition pump and pole rentals at affordable rates to patients, physician offices, and other health care facilities.<\/p>\n

    Patient \/ Caregiver \/ Family in-home education and training<\/span><\/h3>\n

    We provide in-home education and training for all of the services which we provide, including IV and Enteral Nutrition administration techniques and procedures, pump function and operation, medication management, troubleshooting, etc. We also provide in-services, training, and educational programs for professional staff in physician offices, nursing agencies, and other health care facilities.<\/p>\n

    Clinical Pharmacist \/ Infusion RN Consulting Services<\/span><\/h3>\n

    We offer Clinical Pharmacist and Infusion RN consulting services to other health care providers, including nursing and hospice agencies, physician offices, and nursing homes.<\/p>\n

    Sterile Compounding<\/span><\/h3>\n

    We provide sterile compounding and mixing of IV and intrathecal medications for physician offices and other health care facilties. IV medications include Remicade, Rituxan, Orencia, and Reclast. Intrathecal medications for implanted pumps include morphine, hydromorphone, fentanyl, baclofen, bupivacaine, clonidine, etc. We also provide sterile compounding and mixing of chemotherapy medications for hematology and oncology offices. All of our sterile compounding meets or exceeds the USP Chapter 797 standards and requirements for sterility.<\/p>\n

    Pharmacokinetics and Medication Dosing<\/span><\/h3>\n

    We provide complete patient medication monitoring. This includes medication dosing and dosage adjustments including pharmacokinetics for Vancomycin and aminoglycosides. We order and interpret all necessary labs, and make physician recommendations when appropriate. We also provide total management of TPN patients including nutritional assessment, formula adjustments, lab value monitoring, care plan modifications, physician consultations, etc.<\/p>\n

    IV catheter medications, supplies and maintenance<\/span><\/h3>\n

    We carry a full line of IV catheter medications and supplies necessary for the care and maintenance of all types of catheters. These include saline and heparin flushs, dressing change kits, huber needles, catheter securement devices, etc. We also provide declotting services for central IV lines such as PICC and Ports.<\/p>\n

    Complete symptom management for hospice patients<\/span><\/h3>\n

    Our Clinical Pharmacists have extensive knowledge and experience in all areas of symptom management for hospice patients with a special emphasis on pain management including dosage adjustments and titrations, medication recommendations, physician consultations, etc. Our Clinical Pharmacists work and communicate directly with hospice nurses and physicians in order to treat and control undesirable symptoms which commonly occur in hospice patients.<\/p>\n
